As I draw this working week to a close I started the day refreshing my “Quote of the Day” images I use for my social media as well as other work I did for social media.
I did some code clean-up for the rest of my iterations of the Photo Viewer App.
But the main difficulty of the day is trying to make the code I post in these blogs look nice with some Code formatting. The plugins I have been trying to do to drive this have either been not what I’ve been looking for or didn’t work. But I know that I’ve done this before in another WordPress project I worked on in the past.
So I looked back on that and I found…. that the project was not working properly where for some reason the WordPress loop wasn’t displaying the content properly even though it was there in the admin area. So I’ve now taken it offline to investigate it, update it where necessary, and hopefully leverage it for the code in this blog.
If it comes together it should be a better solution than posting code in images or styling <pre> elements which is what I’m having to do at the moment. So this, along with my client work will keep me busy over the next week.
