Blog: R6D45: #100DaysOfCode (More Posts)

Good day. This is Day 45 of round 6 of the 100 Days of Code challenge. Today I mainly concentrated on making the static files of my design that I created a few days ago into a WordPress theme.

This in the main meant creating files for

• The home page
• Site Pages
• The article list page
• The Single-Article page
• the 404 page
• Archive pages.

I also hooked up the main navigation in WordPress so it comes together as a website very nicely.  I also imported to post data from another installation so I have some WordPress Post data to work and test with.

I’m looking forward to seeing if I can finish off the rest tomorrow. What needs finishing now is hooking up the WordPress Loop so I start getting dynamic unique content for the pages and posts.  I’ll also update the readme file so users who hopefully use this project in the future will know how they can customise it in the future for their own themes.
