Blog: R6D42: #100DaysOfCode (More Posts)
Working with PHP and WordPress mostly today
I spent most of my time going into this blog to try and implement some improvements. I started out by updating the post/article formatting for various states – italics, bold headings, etc and cleaning the styles for that in the appropriate SASS Partial file.
The styling needs cleaning up, but the formatting code for single articles is more up to date now and in one location. I’m thinking about whether it is worth putting into an @extend sass partial but it stays where it is for now.
I looked into the bug with the archive template. Right now it is only showing archive for the 2 posts I made in December 2020. That was tricky and dispiriting as not much I have tried so far has worked to fix that particular problem I even tried to fix the display using a plugin.
Now, I think it’s down to the fact it’s trying to list the 2 “posts” I made in December, rather than posts I made to my Custom Post Type. But I haven’t quite managed to code the archive templates to do this yet. The answer come I am sure.
