Blog: CSS Grid Repo (More Posts)
Today I uploaded a new repository for GitHub which is all about CSS Grid. You can clone it here
git clone https://github.com/jg-digital-media/jgdm_grid_project
making sure that you create a new project root for it to go into.
Why did I make this repo? It started out as a simple re-design of this project first made in 2017 and the ideas kind of snowballed from there so I could refresh myself on everything that CSS Grid can do. And as my ideas were flowing, things kind of just snowballed and thought it would be better if everyone could use the site in a more interactive way.
How it works is you clone the simple site to your system. Watch for new changes to the CSS with Ruby Sass, and simply swap out the Sass partials in the style.scss and watch how things change in the browser. It’s better if you can automate the browser refresh with something like Live Preview, a text editor extension to VS Code. But a manual browser refresh will always fo the trick.
There’s more to add in the coming weeks and you can track these changes in the changelog that comes with this repo. (readme.md)
